Jazz Funk (AKA Street Jazz)

Dynamic dance style influenced by hip hop fused with minimal jazz technique (body lines, turns, kicks, leaps, etc). Danced to pop, rock, R&B and hip hop music. A great way for jazz dancers who are interested in learning hip hop to make a smooth transition (and vice versa).

 

Jazz

Involves a range of lively, fluid body movement, merged with ballet technique to create a clean, powerful, and challenging style of dance. This style is often present in  musical theater and burlesque. It include kicks, leaps, turns, and body placement.

 

House

House dancing is primarily footwork and encouraging interaction and response between people. It is a great workout with amazing music for dancers of all levels to grow to become more comfortable expressing how they are feeling through dance and freestyle.

 

Hip Hop

Dance  primarily performed to hip-hop music. It includes a wide range of styles primarily breaking, locking, whacking and popping.

 

Lyrical Hip Hop 

A combination of hip hop movement with lyrical flow, playing off of gestures and movement that feels good on the body.
